Karnataka DCET (Diploma Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for diploma holders seeking direct 2nd-year lateral entry admission into B.E. and B.Tech engineering degree courses across premier government, aided, and private engineering institutions in Karnataka.
Who is eligible to apply?
Candidates who have passed or are appearing in the final semester of a recognized 3-year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) are eligible to apply.
